Join our Wonky Parsnip Growing club!
Arrive at 10am for a full day learning how to become a master at Veg Growing, You will leave feeling like Monty Don!'
 
Starting the day with a full tour of the Wonky Parsnip patch, learn the hows what whys and how we run our market garden and learn about some different methods of veg growing.
 
Following the tour we will stop for tea/cake break and find out what your garden is like at and what you hope to achieve with it,  so we can give you the best of our advice throughout the day suited to you.
 
We will then proceed by learning everything from plant timing, variety selection to suit your garden, compost, inputs such as fertilisers/organic and otherwise, pest and disease control, plant rotation, sowing, potting on, hardening off, transplanting, harvesting, storing, ground preparation and everything in-between!
 
Lunch will be a beautifully prepared buffet of homemade salads, breads, dips, cakes, tarts (Please let us know of any allergy's) Tea/Coffee is also available all day :) 
 
Following lunch, we will the get the seeds out!! Learn about seed sowing, plant transplanting, soaking seeds, different composts and tray types. Here we will have a go at planting up trays with seeds of your choice which you can take home with you to grow on. We will also do some experimenting with micro herbs and micro green mixes that you can also take home.
