We grow over 15 different variety's all with their own unique flavour and texture! Don't just use butternut squash, there is a huge array of squash, pumpkin and courgettes to be tasted!
For example crown prince (pictured) makes an amazing naturally buttery flavoured mash - simply remove the skin chop into chunks 3cm roughly boil until soft and mash, add seasoning to taste!
Acorn squash (small green) boil for 20mins whole - cut the lid off, scoop out the middle into a bowl add grated cheese and peas, re-fill the squash with the mixture and bake for 10mins for a tasty dish!
A great alternative to potato, we love roasting , stuffing with minced meat, boiling or adding to curry's and stews!
